Advice for First Time Meat Eaters!

Let me seduce you to the pork side! Hmm, that doesn't quite work. Dark meat side? Dark side of pork? Whatever.
So you've decided to try meat, see what all the fuss is about. But you don't know a lot about meat, and you don't where to start to explore the wonderful world of steaks and barbecue and sausages and lamb chops. That's where I come in - I love food and I want people to enjoy it as much as I do, and it would really be a shame if you started with, say, blood sausage or a McDonalds hamburger, and decided meat wasn't for you. You'll tell me what experience you have with meat and food in general, and I'll suggest a first and a second experience for you!
On the other hand, if there are any people reading this that believe being vegetarian or vegan is morally better than being an omnivore, and would like intelligent discourse from someone who believes there's no intrinsic moral issues with eating animal tissue, I'm open to that as well. I've known a lot of vegans that don't understand how ethical people can eat meat, and I'd love to help any others understand and maybe even respect omnivores.
