Home safety consultation
I will go room by room of your home (either in person if in my region, or digitally via images you provide) and make recommendations that will improve safety. This is ideal for individuals who are having increased difficulty walking, are afraid of falling or have fallen previously, have recently starting using a new mobility device (walker, wheelchair, etc), or have been recently diagnosed with a progressive disease (such as MS, Alzheimer's, spinal stenosis, Parkinson's, etc) and would like to age in their own home for as long as possible.
This is NOT an OT evaluation - as that would require an order from your doctor. I will not be doing any clinical assessment of the individual. I can only make recommendation to improve the environment, and provide generalized, non-patient-specific education.

About Stacy Gulick
I'm a licensed Occupational Therapy - No, that's not a job coach (you're thinking a vocational counselor) Occupational Therapy (or OT) helps people to do their every day tasks, such a getting use to... using their kitchen with their new walker, or improving a child's handwriting for better success in school. Getting dressed after a stroke, organizing your office to better deal with you ADD, wiping you butt after you broke your wrist, helping teacher situate their classroom to accommodate a child's wheelchair - can all fall under the umbrella of what I do. Mostly I do a lot of education about disabilities in order to help families and individuals be as successful as they can be, no matter what their temporary or permanent conditions may be challenging them. show moreOpen to other proposals
