I hold a masters degree in Philosophy from University of Memphis, with a concentration on philosophy of mind and philosophy of language. Prior to my position at the Startup PDX Challenge, I provided training and development for Squarespace, before moving out to Portland to help open their West Coast office.

Since moving to Portland about 6 years ago, I've been doing mostly non-profit contract work centered on economic development. I consider myself to a jack of all trades, but as a master gardener, astrologer, herbalist and budding Reiki master, my pursuits tend to focus on healing through food and plant medicine. In my free time I love to spend my time doing outdoors activities like camping or mushroom picking, or studying different esoteric healing traditions, including Ayurvedic medicine and African Tradition Religion. I'm passionate about designing positive change in society, whether that be by increasing digital & economic access or through traditional healing theologies.
