Armenian Calligraphy

Get your name written in Armenian!

The Armenian alphabet (Հայոց այբուբեն) is said to have been developed around 405 AD by Mesrob Mashtots, although there is some evidence it is older. With 39 unique letters, each character has its own beauty. This alphabet is still used today in the country of Armenia.

For a low price, I will write your name or translate a simple one sentence message of your choosing into Armenian. I will hand-write it and scan the image to you (just specify the preferred file format). If you want something a little longer, we can negotiate! And if you want some more decoration to it I can do that too.

Training & Qualifications

I am highly artistic, and have a good handle on the Armenian alphabet and language after taking three years of Armenian language courses and having volunteered in the country for six months. I enjoy drawing stylized letters for personal projects like mix tapes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Deeply moving - a future classic. ByLouise J. Haddawayon April 19, 2017 Format: Kindle Edition Deeply moving, thoughtful recounting... of the trials of war overtaking a young boy and his friends in an orphanage in Armenia. A clear rendition in clear and concise voice that both brings you into the past of a harsh survival, and the joys and innocence of a young boy. Finished the book longing for more, and with a lump in my throat and my heart full of sorrow. Won't give it away, but this is a book that will become a classic in understanding the costs of war on the innocent.show more

About Suren Oganessian

My name's Suren Oganessian (a nice unique name I inherited from my grandfather), and I'm an up-and-coming indy novelist with one book out and many more to come soon! I was born in California but have ...been forced to immigrate to Florida in pursuit of the American dream (i.e. affordable housing, gas, everything), although I feel that my heart truly belongs in Armenia, and I volunteered there for six months back in 2015. I have a Master's degree in Creative Writing and the debt to prove it, making Simbi just the kind of place for me.show more
