-- play clearer tone, slap, bass sounds (I am a master mechanic for sound technique)
-- how to play basic beats and drills from the first lesson
And you will laugh, improve, and enjoy every minute. I have been doing this for 20 years.
Training & Qualifications
I have been playing djembe for 20 years, including performance troupes with master drummers from Mali and Guinea. I created the first professional reference library of West African Rhythms with a master drummer from Guinea. I have been a teacher all my adult life, and a teacher/performer of African drumming for 20 years. I lead high energy drum circles for dancers, and specialize in teaching sound technique to all levels, and advanced principals of inspiring dancers to advanced drummers. I have held over 300 drum circles in 5 states, and I am creating online courses in both these topics among others.
