As I learned to drum, it had many unexpected side benefits. The most obvious, was how drumming increased my ability to go within and play what was authentic for me in the moment. And that authentic perspective overflowed to everything I do, from how I dressed, my relationship choices, my art, my business decisions... all of it. So I recommend drumming for many benefits beyond all the research about its immediate health benefits like immunity, community cooperation, mood enhancement, stress reduction and many others.
