What to expect from a Distance Reiki session
- A Distance Reiki session lasts about 30 minutes.
- Start a conversation with me, and we can discuss the perfect time for you to receive some Reiki. I usually schedule out at least 12 hours.
- Prior to our scheduled time, I will provide e-mailed instructions for how you should prepare to receive the Reiki.
- When the time comes for you to receive, sit or lay in a comfortable position for the scheduled 30 minutes, and receive the Reiki that has been prepared for you. No meditation skills are required. Simply allow yourself to relax.
- After the session, some people like to know if I "saw" or received any intuitive guidance during their session, or would like to share their experience with me. If this is true for you, please e-mail me following the session with any questions or comments.

What are the benefits of Distance Reiki?
Distance Reiki provides the body with a healing environment with which it may use toward balancing the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of the body. When the body feels balanced, life energy can flow more freely through it providing health and vitality.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese method of energy healing that balances the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energies of a being toward their highest good, allowing the body to cleanse and heal itself. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which roughly translates to “Universal Life-Force" and (Ki) which means “Energy”.
As discussed by quantum physics, everything is made up of vibrational energy, including the human body. A Reiki treatment assists in balancing the energy field of the body to promote a sense of well-being.
Receiving Reiki can do absolutely no harm. It always works toward the highest good of the one receiving it. No belief is necessary for the treatment to be effective, however the more open one is to receiving it, the more their body will receive. The recipient is in complete control of how much of this "Universal Life-Force Energy" that they receive. The Reiki practitioner is simply the vessel through which the Reiki flows—like a straw. The recipient may draw as much or as little as they are comfortable.

How does Distance Reiki work?
Reiki can be received both in person and from a distance. The amount of Reiki received and its effects on your body are the same, and not diminished when receiving from a distance.
The vibrational energy that makes up our bodies is universally connected, and is not limited to the time and space that we perceive ourselves to be limited to physically. Therefore the energy can be received from anywhere, and in any time that we intend.
