If you are looking to improve wildlife habitat, watershed health, and/or plant diversity on land that has been impacted by human actions, I can help. Every restoration site has its own challenges and opportunities. I will work with you to create a restoration plan that meets both your needs and the needs of the ecosystem.
Beyond the planning stage, I can perform invasive species removal (including blackberry, ivy, holly, etc.), site preparation, planting natives, minor topographical changes, monitoring, and maintenance.
Training & Qualifications
I have been doing hands-on outdoor science education for the past 5 years. I've spent 2 years leading high school students in paid ecological restoration work.
Availability & Preferences
I work a school schedule, so I'm most available on weekends and during the summer. Different steps of the restoration process happen during different seasons, but planning a project can happen any time!
