Hey! Im a Senior at Columbia University majoring in Anthropology and Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies. I hope to go on to get a PhD in Anthropology. A friend introduced me to Simbi because I have no many random skills and like to share them with other folks. I have quite a wide range of interests and hobbies and always looking to add more.
So far I can play 7 instruments, including Guitar, Electric Bass and am a trained classical singer. Music was my primary hobby for most of my life before college and still is very important to me. During the academic year I am part of a large choir and a small chamber group.
I also like to knit, crotchet, sew, and woodwork. I guess most of my crafting hobbies are those that either of your grandparents would be into.
I am most well known for my love of bread. Because of my bread baking, I've been given the nickname "bread boy" around campus. I have raised my own yeast named Harold. This summer I am on a quest to bake pretty much all my own bread. Although bread is my passion, I also know how to and enjoy cooking all kinds of food.
I enjoy working out often as well. I guess most of my activities can be lumped into the HIIT training category or CrossFit. I am quite an avid biker whenever I return to my hometown and have access to wooded trails. Right now I am trying to get into running.
Pretty much, I like to keep busy and love learning new things! Look forward to sharing and learning!
