We believe no one needs to go hungry. If you dont have any simbi to trade we always need help around the house so you're welcome to join us for our family dinner!
Our family dream is to open a restaurant so you're helping our self esteem with plenty of compliments!
We cook only vegetarian (lacto-ovo) food but can accommodate vegans. What we cook will depend on what's in season and often it is Organic. We like to include a probiotics side dish as well.
Our cooking style varies greatly:
Classical American foods like corn bread and salads, kale chips, and Italian influenced cooking.
Asian food like Chinese stirfries and steam buns, or Indian food like potatoes and peas with nan.
Latino food fusions with Classical Cuban side dishes or Mexican food like tempeh tacos with homemade corn tortillas.
Soups for the winter! Maybe you have a request?
20 Simbi for dinner or an hour of help around the house. Flavored soda water included! :) You can take it to-go if you wanted.
Training & Qualifications
Our family dream is to open a restaurant called "The Stoneground Cafe." We have been working on and perfecting recipes since we started dating in 2012 and have been cooking exclusive vegetarian since 2014.
I have am a Cuban American and food is very much part of our culture. Sharing food and never eating alone are some very important ideas that we follow since childhood.
Availability & Preferences
This service is mostly for our friends or people we know. Though if you're a stranger and are really hungry you are welcome in our house for dinner with our family. :) We can accommodate up to four people.
We can't do this every night and some nights we just can't cook so make sure you ask what's on the menu and when. I like to eat dinner between 6:30-7:30.
