1:1 Stress Management Training
Through first getting to know you through a brief conversation about your current life situation and regular stressors, I will conduct a thorough needs assessment, which will allow me to tailor a stress management regimen that works within the scope of your needs. I will then teach you a variety of mind-body techniques that clients generally respond very well to. Techniques shared often include: breathing exercises, guided meditations, body-focused stress relief, EFT Tapping (emotional freedom technique), yoga sequences and postures, and coaching/counseling you through whatever the session leads us to. We will walk through the techniques together, then I will leave you with a multifaceted treatment plan, which you will be able to use for as long as you like. Whether you'd like a more western science oriented session (explaining the physiology of stress and trauma) or a more metaphysical approach, I will meet you where you are. Sessions are typically one hour in length and can be done via any web-based platform or in person.
Training & Qualifications
I taught Stress Management at the university level for a 30,000 student university in the U.S. I am a registered Yoga Teacher (completed training while living in Rishikesh, India.) I also have a degree in psychology and I am a practitioner of Craniosacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release. I have traveled and worked with clients in many locations around the world and I hope to continue expanding the work I love to do.
Availability & Preferences
I am generally free in the evenings on Monday through Thursday and I am more flexible on Fridays. Weekend evenings are an option as well. I will work to accommodate the time difference between us, no matter where you live.
