Mental Health Chat
25
For one hour, we can discuss anything mental health related that you want! This can either be a conversation about things that are going on in your life, or a general discussion about something mental health related.
In a conversation about personal issues, I can offer advice as well as give tips for self-care, avoiding burnout, and how to advocate for yourself. If you'd like, I can help you look up local supports and how to contact them for future use.
For a more general conversation, I am well versed in issues surrounding mental illness and addictions whether it be about flaws in our healthcare system - I call it the revolving door issue, the politics of drugs, and improvements which can be made to our current system. The majority of my knowledge surrounds Canada and the US but I'd love to learn about issues in other countries too.
I'd love to either meet up in person or chat online! I can be as critical/opinionated as you'd like, or I can just listen; it's up to you.
