I will ask you some questions to help determine what anime you might like. I'll try to recommend 3 - 10, ***but guarantee at least one.***
For example:
- What anime have you watched and liked or loved? Disliked or hated?
- What are your favorite genres? Are there any genres that you hate?
- Are there any elements you really love or hate? Like gore/violence, food/cooking, military, historical, vampires, adult age main characters rather than the frequent high schooler focus, etc?
- If you haven't seen many anime, what are your favorite TV shows and movies? Any you just completely hate? Some that bore you? Do you like any comics, manga, or graphic novels?
I may ask a lot if that's necessary. Or just a little. Too much info can muddle things a bit, sometimes.
