I am a historical seamstress with a passion for preserving antique sewing patterns. I will gladly reproduce for you a pattern from my ever-growing antique and vintage sewing pattern collection. I will scan the paper envelope (front and back) and trace pattern pieces onto the same doctor's exam table paper I like to use when making my own patterns. The pattern will be mailed to you in an envelop with instructions and the folded unprinted pattern pieces. You should be able to recreate it as if you were using the original. (Be aware that older patterns have far less instructions,) I have patterns from 1890-1960 but most of my sewing patterns are from the 1900s-1940s. I would swap for simbi but would really love to trade for another sewing pattern traced from your own collection, preferably from the 1890s-1930s.
Training & Qualifications
I am a historical seamstress and artisan who has sewn the bulk of her own wardrobe and is experienced in working with antique patterns, fabricating vintage style hats, cleaning and stain removal from old fabrics, and mending/darning damaged vintage clothing.
Availability & Preferences
I work from home part time so I am available both during the weeks and on the weekends. Usually unavailable on Tuesday and Sundays.
