Recently received money as part of your divorce settlement? Or through an inheritance?
Interested in learning about the landscape that comprises the alternative economy and values-driven investment?
As a former financial advisor (no longer licensed or practicing) and a committed financial innovator today, I find I can guide folks at the intersection of BAU and the new economy.
Though I can not give financial advice, I can suggest questions you may want to ask your financial advisor, or financial institutions, explain some of the basic structures of financial products (mutual funds and their fees, insurance, annuities, etc.), as well as point you to groups and communities that are leading the way to a new values-driven economy, and help you explore your questions and concerns. If, after our conversation, you still want to work with an advisor, I can suggest advisors that work in this emerging landscape offering these services.
Training & Qualifications
I worked in financial services for over two decades. I left my licenses behind to serve as a Slow Money SoCal director in 2014. In the ensuing years, I have continue to grow my practice and experience serving as a Kiva Small Business Advisor and participating in many communities, unique learning circles, and other outreach and engagement opportunities. I recently started helping folks interested in this new economy vision. The feedback I received suggest people find my insights about the Business As Usual (BAU) world coupled with a knowledge of the new economy landscape are helpful and some say comforting.
*Again, a reminder, I am simply offering insight and guidance as I have experienced this industry. What I am offering should not be construed as investment advice.
