I teach folks of all ages how to start veggie and flower gardens from seeds and foraged edible plants. Together you and I can set up gardens on patios, balconies, in houses, or in earth using raised beds, found objects, pots or recycled materials.
We can create keyhole beds [great for wheelchairs] compost donut beds [where the compost goes in the middle in a wire "donut" hole and the bed is about 1.5 feet wide and "fed" and watered via the compost hole.] I specialize in both dug and raised Hugel Kulture beds.
We can all learn how to be more self sufficient by learning to garden anywhere, any time, any place. If desired I can give a mini tours of my private food bank garden where I grow veggie and herb starts for the local fish food bank.
I also include how to make "seed bombs" and how to find the right plant for the right spot.
Training & Qualifications
Raised and trained by a gardening Grandmother, I have run farms and ranches in four states. I currently run a private food bank garden where I raised veggie starts for the local fish food bank.
