Yes, there is such a thing as a progressive Christian. We do exist, we're just less vocal than the more fundamentalist ones. I think that should change. As a progressive Christian, I am appalled by the behavior of some other so-called Christians, and I want to set the record straight on REAL Christianity. If you're curious, we can chat about it. I am very open minded. I love discussing my beliefs. I don't believe in judging people. I'm a rational and loving person. We can chat as long as you like. Let your mind be open to a new perspective, and you might be surprised!
Training & Qualifications
I am a lifelong ELCA Lutheran. (Not Missouri Synod!) I don't just attend services and send my kids to Sunday School. I am active in my church groups, and with progressive political causes. I see no conflict between science and my religion, and no conflict between the values of the Green Party and my religion. My pastor is a married woman, my daughter is bisexual and a confirmed Lutheran, and I love her fiercely. My best friend is an atheist (and the mother of my daughter's girlfriend) I am a licensed veterinarian, a biology major, and I was a member of Christian Veterinary Mission in veterinary school.
Availability & Preferences
