Did you always mean to learn chess, but never got around to it?
Maybe you played when you were a kid, but forgot almost everything you knew back then?
Or maybe your kid is crazy about the game, and you have no idea how to help them develop?
That's where I come in! I'm a professional chess instructor, exploring the intriguing world of Simbi.
I can take you through the basics of the game, and introduce you to the wider world of interesting shenanigans available to the chess enthusiast. My professional specialty is working with children, but I enjoy working with beginning and intermediate students of all ages. My favored educational format is playing chess, and posing questions and offering insights as we play. I'm also proficient in an increasing number of educational chess variations, and spice things up with the occasional puzzle or story about famous players.

P.S. I've never taught online before. I'm inclined to think Skype is our best option, but we can figure it out as we go!

I've coached strong scholastic teams, helped organize large tournaments (50+ attending players), and built a chess education empire in my region.
Availability & Preferences
I'm usually free during the day, Monday through Friday. Afternoons and evenings tend to be very busy, though, due to my work. Still, if evening if your only option, we might find a mutually convenient time!
