Surviving college pep talk/advice

For the past five years I have mentored a variety of students who are struggling with their own college decisions. Sometimes things are hard and we need a friend to listen, or someone to give us a push, or maybe offer a different perspective from the other side of the canyon. I come from very competitive programs and have had a great many challenges through my academic career. I am happy to have a Skype call with you and offer any support or advice I can confidentially (unless you are at risk for hurting yourself or others, or you are aware of abuse to other parties)
Training & Qualifications
I have a BA from UPenn in Physics and an MSE from Johns Hopkins in Engineering. I am currently getting my PhD in Engineering. I have been asked to speak at my graduation and give a Ted Talk to discuss surviving academic life to the best of your ability.
