It's going to be Mother's Day this Sunday in the US. This week's movie list is 20+ movies that feature 20 of my favorite cinema mothers. I've grouped it into Animated mothers, Imperfect/Lovable mothers, and Entertaining/Endearing mothers, plus 2 Unconventional choices. The role of mother is usually a background character; these movies have mother characters that are closer to the forefront and essential to the plot.
Watch these movies with your kids, with your mom, or on your own.
