ISO Supplies for Homeless Packages
1
I make packages up, stock my car, and hand them out to every homeless person I see.
I need:
Socks - they can match, or not, be new, or not. Folk don't care if they're wearing mismatched hand me downs as long as their feet are warm and dry. I use each pair of socks to enclose each batch of goodies - no plastic bags that will just get thrown out.
Toothpaste - you know you never use those sample packs.
Toothbrushes
Floss - seriously, do you even remember where you put the sample size your dentist gave you 2 months ago?
Gloves - Walmart. 5/$5. Cheap. Can save someone's hands.
Granola bars - small, portable food that doesn't require refrigeration. Nuts, etc great too.
Condoms - they have lives, lets help them live safer!
Hotel samples - small, portable, refillable when they use the shampoo/soap/conditioner/lotion from any public bathroom with liquid soap. Clean = less sickness, disease, and death.
Combs
Ponchos - Dollar Tree, 2/$1. Help them stay dry.
Washcloths/Hand towels - small, portable, easier to stay clean and dry.
Cough drops
Vitamins
Hot Hands packs (hand warmers)
and anything else you can think of that would help someone in need.
Thank you.
