What is the Opioid Crisis?

During a 20 minute conversation (with a presentation for you to keep), I'll share the causes - historic and ongoing - behind the ongoing opioid epidemic. It's in the papers every day but what is it, really, where did it come from, how can we stop it, and what is being done to stop it?
And most importantly, I'll share what you can do to help end the most fatal epidemic to hit this continent.
I'll give a quick overview but I also want to listen to you as I imagine there's a reason why you're looking to learn more and that's usually the most important part of these conversations: why are You here.

Training & Qualifications
I've spent the last 15 months deeply engaged in harm reduction in Vancouver, having hundreds of conversations and reading anything I can get my hands on in order to understand the issue and explore potential solutions.
