Review my book(s)
This one is on pause, unless you want to trade services.
I really underestimated the turnout on offers, so I don't have the points to pay for the time being!
So, I have a few novels out.
I did get them published by an actual publisher, but I feel like I could use a little more acknowledgement from readers.
The books are totally out of my usual writing zone - they're romance novels. Queer romance novels.
For the most part, I tried to make them a bit more literary than most romance novels, and I try to avoid excessive schmaltz. Because of this, I've sort of hit a dead area between the romance genre and something else entirely. Because of this, reviews have been lukewarm - but I really wouldn't have written these books any other way; I have another one in the works.
I'm looking for someone (or some people) to read one or both of these books (they're related) and leave some reviews online, on sites like Goodreads and Amazon.
"The Peach and the Poppy" is about lesbians in Paris. It's about 40k words.
"No Place like Somewhere Else" follows a bisexual woman in San Francisco. It's about 10k words.
If you're interested, I'd be happy to exchange services - maybe a book review in response?

About Caesar Kent
I'm a writer, an editor, a tutor, and a poet. I'm really involved with two local literary organizations, the Poetry Center of San Jose (PCSJ) and Flash Fiction Forum (FFF), and I have two novel(la)s o...ut, "The Peach and the Poppy," and "No Place like Somewhere Else," with a third book in the works. Needless to say, I love working with words and sharing that passion with others through teaching. show moreOpen to other proposals
