Ahoy! Durham native here, enjoying work and play in the city while resting and planting roots thirty miles away in the sticks. Lover of all things art and nature based. If there is free time to be had I can be found in the woods or in the garden. I'm a lover of live music, animals, colors and dirt. My education does not exceed a high school level but what I lack in academic experience, I like to think I make up for in pure passion, imagination and work ethic. I've worked as a retail office manager of a feed and seed and holistic pet care store for over a decade. I love the diversity of clientele and have picked up a lot of knowledge in agriculture , pet care and business management. But honestly, my favorite thing about my job is getting to write copy for ads and creating window displays and signage. I'm nearing the end of a manuscript that I have been working on for 5 years and hope to begin editing soon . I'm a life long painter and craft enthusiast.
