Inclusive Virtual Theater
25
I started Spoonie Theater so that folks like me with disabilities can participate in virtual theater productions. We do a modified rehearsal schedule (much less intense than typical theater) and lines do not have to be memorized as they can be put up on your computer screen. You need to have a laptop or desktop computer, decent internet connection, a quiet space for when we record, and we usually use virtual backgrounds so you would need a green screen (can be bought on Amazon for about $10 or made out of green poster board). If you are interested in acting, directing, technical directing, promotion, or writing, let me know. Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel. We lean towards doing original works and focus on amplifying marginalized voices.
