I can tutor you in engineering statics and mechanics of solids.
LOCAL ONLY. I don't believe in tutoring online, plus, plenty of other services exist for that.
Student(s) would need to inform me of the specific topic ahead of time and bring all notes/hw/textbooks.
We'd meet in a public place like a library or coffee shop for the sessions.
Training & Qualifications
I'm an engineering mechanics PhD student. I've served as a teaching assistant for Statics for 2 semesters and Mechanics of Solids for 2 semesters. I have an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from and Ivy League university and 6 years of graduate work in engineering mechanics. I've held office hours written exams, held section and even filled in for the professors in both of these classes. I'm actually certified to teach both of these courses as an assistant instructor, should a position open up. I've been reviewed by both students and the dean's office, and the response is overwhelmingly positive.
I have many years of teaching/tutoring experience under my belt, ranging for working in a tutoring lab or teaching underprivileged kids for a non-profit.
