Hello friends :) I graduated from the University of San Diego last year with a B.A. in Communication Studies, and I just moved up to L.A. about two months ago now and im loving it! San Diego will always be home with it's relaxed lifestyle and perfect breezy weather, but I knew o wouldn't grow there as a creative, so now i'm up here in la just trying to fill my gas tank and do what I love to get by!
I enjoy rollerblading, deep house/festivals, and almost anything creative and fun, but photography above everything else for sure.
I started shooting in high school and have continued through college. I recently had my camera, 4 lenses, and all of my lighting equipment stolen from me while I was moving out of my apartment, and I didn't shoot for 6 months. Now i'm back at it and have never had this much of an appreciation for shooting before, so all in all, it's been a beautiful reawakening of what I love to do.
I can't afford the crazy rent up here so I live in a conversion van and im loving it! Yes, an accessible toilet and fridge are some pretty big downfalls, but it's really not that bad. I love being able to park near wherever I need to be the night before, and am never really late to gigs this way. I keep life simple and am trying to stay focused on furthering and improving myself, as well as my career in photography.
It seems i'm on to the next hardest lesson: saying no
