About Taryn Pilius

Taryn is an intuitive and patient teacher who takes care with each student as an individual. Her patience and warmth creates an atmosphere that helps even the most inflexible or inexperienced feel tru...ly comfortable in the poses. With yoga, she has found a way to bring a deeper connection between her body and mind that contains the sanity to overcome the individual difficulties that come with living life. Students in Taryn’s class will see that her focus is on slowing down and connecting with their bodies through breath, and sharing the joy of learning to enjoy and observe every moment and movement without judgment. In this way we may take the lessons learned on the mat out into our lives, bringing balance and peace with us as we face our own challenges. When not teaching yoga, Taryn may be found hiking around Austin with her incredible dog, Leela, cooking up some amazing vegan marshmallow cookies, or experimenting in her garden. She has 200 RYT through Yoga Yoga in Hatha flow and Vinyasa yoga. She's also working on continuing her education with children's yoga teacher training and trauma informed yoga teacher training this year and will continue over the years to come.
