Spanish is the fastest growing language in the US! Want to become more comfortable speaking Spanish, for your job/community/travel? Studies indicate that consistent casual conversation - not grammar, not speeches, not perfecting your accent, not using a translating services - will get you there fastest. So if you're not sure where to start to hone your Spanish, start with regular conversation.
Join me at a coffeehouse or on a video conferencing site for a 30min no-judgement chat in Spanish. We'll start with topics that you're passionate about: movies, sports, travel, politics, family, whatever lights you up. I'll ask you questions, answer your questions, and provide fast and easy language learning techniques.
Training & Qualifications
I studied 8 years of Spanish from 7th grade through university, where I majored in Linguistics and Latin American studies. I spoke Spanish (and sometimes was the only member of my party who did) during dozens of trips to Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, Spain, and Cuba. More recently, I lived in Madrid for a year while teaching English to Spanish speaking clients. (And I love this beautiful language!)
Availability & Preferences
I'm flexible! In person arrangements can be made if you live in Denver CO area or Madison WI area. Otherwise, we can meet on Skype, What's App, Go To Meeting, or another free video conferencing site that you love to use.
