I am an aspiring author. I have been writing for more than 20 years. I have written and published blogs, short stories and poems.
I sit at my computer staring at the bright screen a tall plastic cup in hand. I take a sip from the long green straw and close my eyes as the cool caramel sweetness hits my tongue. "Mmm" the sound escapes me like the purr of a cat. Setting the cup down, I place my hands over the home keys and begin typing. My fingers move faster as the story pours from my brain to my fingertips and onto the computer screen. "The End." stares back at me from the screen and I smile, satisfied with a job well done.
