Ask a Buddhist!
1
Having a Spiritual Crisis? Want to know what a Buddhist would say about your current situation? Just can't find the right answer on Wikipedia or don't know where to turn? Ask me and I'll answer your question to the best of my ability!
Buddhism is a rich and noble spiritual tradition that comes in as many flavors and forms as Christianity. In fact, "Buddha" simply means teacher. Buddhism is laid out much like a map: to get to point B, travel through point A first. To travel through point A, you will need items C, D, and E. Thus, the Four Noble Truths are the history of man and mankind. To end the suffering of the Four Noble Truths one must take refuge in the Three Jewels and follow the Eight-fold Noble Path. Many Buddhist even recognize many saints and leaders of Christianity as Bodhisattva or beings dedicated toward a path of spiritual enlightenment!
Training & Qualifications
I have studied Buddhism for many years from the age of 17 to present (I am currently 31 earth years in this lifetime). I've taken many retreats at the Nyingma Institute in Berkeley, CA and study Zen Koans weekly.
