Resin casting and mold making can be overwhelming and most people aren't sure where to start. Well, look no further!
I will teach you how to make silicone rubber molds from an original, how to construct mold boxes and how to make resin castings from the silicone molds we'all make. You'll learn techniques that make for great pours with little to no bubbling, youll learn about mold upkeep and storage, you'll learn about the various materials available on the market and where to get them, how to store them and how to use them. You'll also be taught mixing and measuring technique, you'll learn about quickening agents and release agents too.
After this lesson you'll be all set to start making your very own molds and casting whatever your creative brain dreams up from them!
Training & Qualifications
I am an award winning, second generation seamstress, hat maker and prop maker with over ten years of industry experience varying from theatrical and film to couture and corsetry applications.

I apprenticed under my grandmother, a master couture seamstress and general tinker+artisan like myself. I also possess a fashion design and merchandising diploma from Stratford institute as well as multiple supplemental business management and marketing courses.
