I'll give you an hour of sewing lessons tailored (bad puns are aplenty and always free!) to your needs and wants. You can start with the basics or I can help you develop a specific skill. If you have a project in mind that you aren't sure how to complete, or need some direction I am happy to help! Some projects that you can get a really good start on in an hour and take home to finish are things like a pencil dress, leggings, or a circle skirt!
Alternately I can teach you how to make hats, or we can talk patterns, materials or tools of the trade!
You'll have to bring your own fabric for this venture, but if you are not sure what you need for a project you can get in touch and I can give yardage estimates. Alternately you can pick from my fabric hoarde but it's a guessing game as to what you'll get!
Training & Qualifications
I am an award winning, second generation seamstress, hat maker and prop maker with over ten years of industry experience varying from theatrical and film to couture and corsetry applications.

I apprenticed under my grandmother, a master couture seamstress and general tinker+artisan like myself. I also possess a fashion design and merchandising diploma from Stratford institute as well as multiple supplemental business management and marketing courses.

Typically I work By appointment only, that said, I am easy to work with, just get in touch and we can work out times that fit everyone's busy schedules.
