This is a step-by-step plan of how to make the switch from corporations known for their negative impact to small-business, ethical alternatives. This includes: bullet points of why you might want to avoid each company (including privacy, environmental, ethical), steps to take to move away from them, and positive alternatives. I’ve done most of these swaps to confirm that they’re both convenient and worth it.
Training & Qualifications
I am a trained scientist, and I enjoy applying analysis to my own life as well. Where possible, I run the calculations to determine the best options for any choice that I’m faced with, including which companies to patronize.
