I grew up in a cult-like religion that taught me many valuable lessons but caused me to disconnect from my creative and intuitive self, and left me feeling not good enough. At an early age, I started asking mystical questions like, “Is this all a dream I’m having?” I was curious and searching. The answers provided by the religion were scary and I became very fearful. After awhile I found it a challenge to think a happy thought. This negative thinking pattern resulted in anxiety, depression, acid reflux, chronic sore throats, and a major distaste for anything even remotely spiritual. As a natural teacher, I found success and excitement at a Fortune 100 company as a course writer and traveling instructor. But after 20 years in the corporate world, my CREATIVITY and AUTHENTICITY was yearning to come out and play! I craved a life with more PASSION and PURPOSE. It was then that I started listening to the divine guidance that came through me, which would not only get me out of depression and through the day, but ultimately would TRANSFORM the world I lived in into a MAGICAL PLACE. Now I get to do the work that my soul was craving and that I’m excited about! Looking back, I clearly see that Life made me so very uncomfortable as to push me to connect with my true self which is limitless, expansive, deserving of love without having to earn it, and is GOOD ENOUGH!
