I can offer insight to a wide variety of pet related general health and behavioral issues. I can offer personal opinions and reviews for industry related products and services.
***I cannot legally offer medical advice***, but I can explain previously diagnosed issues with more clarity, using relatable language and let you know what to expect moving forward. I can dispel myths, help people receive a faster and more accurate diagnosis from their vet, identify situations where a second opinion would be encouraged and suggest solutions to help with administering prescribed medications to animals more easily and effectively.
I can also offer field advice to new technicians and anyone considering a career in the veterinary industry. I can also offer advice to new managers and less experienced technicians that may be looking into trying a different area of focus.
Training & Qualifications
I am a veterinary surgical nursing assistant with over 16 years of experience. I spent 11 of those years in a large mixed general practice that also included a large boarding facility. During that time I had also learned the art of managing staff by training and coaching a team of up to 20 seasonal employees with great success. The next 5 years of my career were spent working in a small feline only clinic and helping a new VMD that had just purchased the practice gain public awareness.
I successfully marketed the clinic using social media and by hosting, promoting, organizing and presenting in many public events within the community. Presently I work in a very large multi specialty 24 hour veterinary hospital in the surgery department.
Availability & Preferences
Wednesdays, weekends and after 7pm otherwise.
