Read to you out loud
20
For half an hour, I will dedicate a Skype session to reading aloud what you would like me to read to you. Send me the text you'd like me to read and I will perform it for you or your family and friends. If the piece you requested goes over our time, I'll pick a suitable stopping place rather than just cutting-off mid-sentence.
Conditions:
* It has to be 'clean'. I am not comfortable reading sex scenes out loud, although I understand that if I'm reading something that you've never read and you didn't know it was there, accidents happen. Please don't ask me to read a romance novel with multiple sex scenes if you know they're in there. (Cuss words are okay.)
* While I can (and will) read technical manuals or scientific papers, I may not be familiar with all of the terminology used. My vocabulary is extensive, but is still hampered somewhat by my not being active in the medical or scientific fields. Please forgive any mispronunciations of technical terminology.
* I would prefer not to be recorded, unless that is something that we've agreed upon in advance of our session.
Training & Qualifications
I have six years experience with voice acting and audio books, and have performed multiple times for the Augusta State University's Hear A Tale project (under my maiden name, Heredia: http://hearatale.com/ABOUT_history.php), which is an audio-book project for the Richmond County School System. I am also one of the primary actors and narrators in the 2016 North Georgia University educational video series. I have a passion for reading childrens' stories, especially, and read to my own two sons every night. (Right now we're reading _Pinnochio_, by Carlo Collodi. My older son likes my Pinnochio voice.)
Availability & Preferences
I'm usually free in the evenings, after 8 pm EST.
