Need a special gift for someone you care about? Anniversary coming up? Best friends birthday? Best friend having a baby? Or just need to make your home more you? I can help you out. I'm a full time artist, I specialize in making things custom to each individual, or I can do generic but I prefer making art as unique as the individual.
- I can do canvas paintings, all sorts and types of ideas from cartoon, to flowers, to abstract.
- I can paint large spaces, do scenes, trees blowing in the wind, cartoon characters for your babies room, and so on. This also includes furniture, like tables, dressers, cabnets, if you want it custom, I can do it.
- I can make greeting cards, don't like those Christian greeting cards at the store? Not enough puns for your bestie? Maybe your goth or polyamorous, or just want something more personal. I love making punny greeting cards.
- I do embroidery, I can add detail to almost anything fabric, if you do historical recreation or just LARP I specialize in Viking, Celtic, and Medieval English embroidery, I can even do black work, and gold work, and if your geeky enough to know what those are you know it's nothing to joke about, it's just awesome.
- wood burning, cutting boards are easiest, but I can wood burn just about anything you need that is wood of course. Specializing again in Celtic knot work and Viking things, but I can do about anything except humans.
- last and best of all, I make glass beads, I use a torch and melt glass to make custom beads, it's called lamp working. Historical recreations love this as glass beads were traded throughout history as money. They fit on pandora bracelets, or I can make them into fun jewelry, or classy jewelry, what ever you want. I love glass working most out of all my art, I am not talented at it, but I can do historical beads very well. With glass bead making I can also roll ashes into them, if you've just lost a loved one or a pet and they've been cremated, I can make you something extremely special to remember them by, it is why I chose to learn how to make beads, because I wanted to be able to hold those I loved dearly close to my heart.
Training & Qualifications
I've been an artist for10 years, I have a fine arts diploma I received in high school on top of normal work. I studied music at the university of Lethbridge, and paralegal studies at macewan. Health complications have caused me to treat my art as a full time job, and as much as bad health sucks, I'm grateful I love art as much as I do.
Availability & Preferences
This is my life, but I am also severely ill, so I work when I can as much as I can but I never know when I will be sick or how long it will last for. I will however keep you in the loop if I happen to get sick.
