Hand made glass beads
Are you a jewelry maker looking for that extra unique material for your work? Because I can totally try make it!
I make glass beads for a living, I admit it's totally awesome to work with fire daily. I specialize in medieval glass working beads specific to Viking, roman, and Greek periods (yes I can document them too because I'm an uber nerd in the Society for creative anarchrsiom, and replicating beads that they would have made then is more fun plain beads,)
I also can make modern more fun looking beads with polka dots, swirls, Pokemon balls themselves, and I can even add shiny gold stone into the glass for even better effects.
Bead hole sizes range from pandora charm bracelet and hair beads, to much smaller holes for tiger wire.
I will make you 6 beads of your choosing, we will work out details of colours, sizes, and so on.
If you wish to purchase beads after that I will give you a "we met on simbi" discount, i can only offer for trade for 6 of these to one person as they are expensive to make, but I think everyone should have a chance to trade for them once.
The Pokemon ball beads fit to pandora bracelet size makes for a pretty dang cool gift, not going to lie they are hugely popular to the point I never get a picture because they sell out so fast.
EDMONTON AREA if you are coming to Edmonton comic con in September please come visit me at the Zoes animal rescue booth where I will have beads and other art for sale and 100% of the proceeds go to the rescue so we can keep on saving animals, keep our community spay/neuter program available, and it's just worth it, so come to Zoe's booth, support a rescue, get cool stuff, what's not to love?
Training & Qualifications
Hundreds of hours spent on the flame... thousands of beads made... sold beads all over the world now also, I'm proud of that.
I've taken glass working classes in BC,at first, and then more recently in New Orleans I had private instruction for glass working and learned so much, it was just fabulous. If you like detail work you should try taking a glass working class, it is easy on the hands and body, and produces amazing unique items every time.
Availability & Preferences
I'm a full time artist, but I'm gone the month of sept to New Orleans so that's my only time I can't.
