I can give you a bunch of my favorite resources including online diet journal & macronutrient trackers.
I mostly follow the ideas of Patricia Wahls who is an MD to avoid some of the pricy hucksterism that comes with any diet trend. I also like Mark Sisson because he cites research when he expresses an opinion in his Mark's Daily Apple blog.
I'm a big believer in making things practical & workable and this diet may not work for you. I'm very familiar with successful methods for behavior modification. And I think paleo & keto are great since if you're doing it right, the fats keep you satisfied so you're not trying to overcome cravings with willpower which is a losing game for most of us (as it was for me).
It's frustratingly hard to get good science based nutritional info. Doctors are very ignorant about nutrition and even nutritionists don't keep up with recent research as evidenced by my diabetic housemate rolling his eyes when we met with his nutritionist, because said several things that just patently aren't true. He wanted to believe his MD & nutritionist but in the end trusted me more and either them or the many one-twue-path fanatical diet bloggers.
Most people use it temporarily and then return to a non-ketogenic paleo for the longer term.
Training & Qualifications
I've been doing a paleo diet for 5 years and have been in ketosis multiple times adding up to about a year. And am trying to maintain ketosis most of the time for medical reasons. Have helped a couple people get their type 2 diabetes under control
