I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Wisconsin. Traditional Chinese Medicine is not just about needles! It also encompasses herbal medicine, therapeutic massage, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, food therapy, and lifestyle recommendations.

Training & Qualifications

I have a Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the same school. I am nationally certified by the NCCAOM, and state certified in Wisconsin.

About Marcella Hammond

I run a family practice-style acupuncture clinic in Madison, WI, with a specific focus on pediatrics and psycho-emotional well-being. My three children were born while I attended acupuncture school, a...nd I have always kept them healthy with Chinese medicine. While in school, I also spent two semesters as an intern at Rady Children’s Hospital, where I treated kids in the Chronic Pain program, the Hematology-Oncology unit, the ICU, and the Barnardy Center for Medically Fragile Children. While there, I learned that sometimes the best way to treat the child is to treat the parents. When in school, I also fell in love with Five Element style acupuncture, which focuses on treating the patient’s spirit. It helped resolve my own post-partum depression and anxiety, and I saw dramatic results treating patients dealing with stress, depression and anxiety.show more
