Ask a Person With Severe Depression
Have you ever wanted to ask someone a question about depression, but you don't know if it's appropriate, you don't want to hurt them, or you've frankly, just never thought about it? Feel free to ask me. I don't judge, even if they are very strange or even potentially frustrating questions. I am doing this to promote understanding.
I have spend my whole life(or rather, as long as remember) with depression, and have grown very perceptive and introspective. I have gotten rather detailed at providing similes and metaphors that attribute the feelings of this disorder to the everyday person, and I think that this can be a useful tool for those who have loved ones with depression, so that you can possibly better understand what they are going through.
*I am not able to diagnose you with any illness, and will not be able to provide medical assistance other than moral support*
