I will break down some of the tough, "pro-level adulting" jargon that gets thrown at people with no warning or explanation in the medical field. What's a deductible? What's the difference between a copay and coinsurance? How can I keep my account from going to collections?
Training & Qualifications
I have worked both sides of the medical insurance field: billing and member services. I explained these concepts daily and offered advice. It was the one thing I enjoyed about the job-- helping to clarify tough-sounding concepts and provide relief.
