Teaching the basics of homebrewing. You will be observing, taking notes, and getting hands-on experience. Two day process. One day to boil the wort/cool down/ferment. Two weeks later to bottle. I sell SCOBYs for kombucha too for $5 with instructions.
Training & Qualifications
I have been homebrewing since 2001. I have made ales, lagers, sours, mead, kombucha, non-dairy kefir, and gruits such as mugwort beer, sasparilla, and odd concoctions. I particularly like brewing summer ales, grapefruit clones IPAs, lagers(takes a month to brew under 60 degree temp...usually during winter), smoky porters, milky stouts, and IPAs. I also took an 8 week Beer & Food pairing course with Chuck Hiigel who started the CA Festival of Beers, held at Madonna Inn currently. History, depth, and perspective to each brewery and style.
Availability & Preferences
Weekends, evenings. I'm flexible. I might be available during the weekdays.
