The Art of Smoothie Making

This will not simply be a one-sided discussion where I expect you to do everything I say. This will be an open discussion where we will walk through the talking points below. I want to make sure you understand what I am saying so that you have the ability to easily discuss and share it with others. All the sources I use for the basis of the discussion will also be provided.
First, we will discuss why smoothies can be very beneficial to your health. It will also be important to discuss when they are not. We will also discuss why smoothies are better than juicing.
Next, we will talk about what kind of equipment you will need (hint: while a blender is required, you do NOT need a high-speed blender such as a Vitamix).
Lastly, we will discuss all the different types of foods you can add to your smoothie and what impact they will have on the nutritional content and the flavor.
Training & Qualifications
I do a lot of nutritional research looking for the best ways to maximize nutrition in my diet. While I put a lot of focus on nutrition, I refuse to sacrifice flavor. If something doesn't taste very good, most people won't eat it no matter how nutritious it is. My goal is finding the right balance.
Availability & Preferences
I'm usually available in the evening (EST) on all days of the week but I'm flexible if the need should arise.
