I'm busy raising a young daughter, practicing massage and teaching kid's yoga/creative movement in Washington, DCs northeast suburbs. I love my funky, gritty, artistic community of urban homesteaders and families who have lived in town for three generations. I believe strongly that community is important and feel blessed to live in one that is so thriving. When I'm not in some sort of studio, and I'm not chasing my daughter around outside, my main hobbies are knitting, cooking, and gardening. Basically, I love turning things into other things: string into clothing, tiny seeds into actual vegetables, a pile of ingredients into a cohesive dish. I'm a master procrastinator, a lover of wine, coffee, and chocolate, a CSA member, and probably the only yoga teacher of any sort who can't touch their toes.
