Infant Massage Instruction

50

50 per session - Virtual OK - Posted Jan 07, 2018

Join me for one 45-minute infant massage lesson at my bodywork studio in College Park, MD. You'll learn a basic routine for massaging baby, or focused massage strokes to address your area of greatest need. Infant massage instruction sessions are appropriate for babies ages birth through pre-crawling. Once the littles get mobile, its tricky to get them to lay still while you're learning!

One or both parents/primary caregivers are welcome to attend. Are you part of a mom's group or midwife's circle? Feel free to bring a friend. My space can accommodate up to four adults with two babies.

Not local? Let's try a Skype/Facetime session! I've never offered classes remotely before, so we'll be learning together how it works, but I'm game to try.

Please feel free to message me for more details, or to discuss the finer points of how I can help you with your little one!

I'm a registered and insured massage practitioner in the state of Maryland and have been practicing massage and bodywork for over a decade. Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About Jessica LaGarde

I'm busy raising a young daughter, practicing massage and teaching kid's yoga/creative movement in Washington, DCs northeast suburbs. I love my funky, gritty, artistic community of urban homesteaders ...and families who have lived in town for three generations. I believe strongly that community is important and feel blessed to live in one that is so thriving. When I'm not in some sort of studio, and I'm not chasing my daughter around outside, my main hobbies are knitting, cooking, and gardening. Basically, I love turning things into other things: string into clothing, tiny seeds into actual vegetables, a pile of ingredients into a cohesive dish. I'm a master procrastinator, a lover of wine, coffee, and chocolate, a CSA member, and probably the only yoga teacher of any sort who can't touch their toes.show more
