I can help you get in shape, condition your core, and work towards your goals with a customized barre fitness routine.
Routines are typically 30 minutes, but the total routine time can be adjusted depending on your goals. I will also include a visual cheat sheet to help with muscle memory as you begin practicing the routine.
I'm a professional dancer with 15 years of experience in classical ballet, 3 years experience teaching group barre exercise classes, and a wide knowledge base which include Pilates, Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique, BodyLogic, Frankling Method, and floor barre.
I am also familiar with circus arts through personal studies in contortion and clowning, and I can help circus and performing artists with building a better line and improving aesthetic concerns with a targeted routine that utilizes ballet technique and methodology in order to help you to achieve a more polished look.
Training & Qualifications
Professionally trained ballet dancer and body geek. I have experience in a range of movement theories and methods and I received barre class certification in 2014.
I have received training in anatomy and kinesthiology in a lecture setting via personal study, college, and as part of my barre certification. I also have 30 hours of study/disection lab for human anatomy.
Please let me know about any conditions or health concerns. I have been trained in how to modify to accommodate many common restrictions, but will always encourage seeking medical advice where appropriate.
