Ask a Maiko
Japanese geisha were considered elite hostesses of the tea houses and theater. They entertained their clients using intelligence, wit, musical talents, and good old-fashioned charm. I consider myself a maiko, or geisha-in-training, and love to answer questions about the role of geisha and general etiquette.
