Want to learn how to make the perfect handmade pizza? I will teach you in a simple hour long demo how to make two different types of pizza.

This is 1 on 1, so you can feel free to stop me, ask questions anytime. I'll let you in on all the secrets that makes Italian cooking so much different, and so much more flavorful. Bring your friends, make it a cooking party!

I will send over the ingredients you need beforehand, so that way we can work together and I can check your progress as we go along. After the demo I will also send over written instructions.

In the demo I will teach you how to make the dough, how to prepare the sauce, heat the oven, how to properly pronounce the names of the ingredients, and how to select the right ingredients (*MOST* important part). If you would like a more complicated sauce like a ragu - then it will cost extra.

I will teach you how to make two different kinds of pizza.
1. Margherita- the most important quintessential Italian pizza - tomato, basil, mozzarella

2. Then your choice of:
-Sausage and potato (I know, sounds weird, but trust me on this one, you'll love it). This is a white pizza.
-Toto' - fried eggplants, tomato sauce (from scratch), parmesana and mozarella
-Agridolce - pear and taleggio cheese. This is a personal favorite. If you are a stinky cheese lover, then this is for you.

If you are more advanced, I can teach you things like a vesuvio pizza (crust stuffed with ricotta), or some more creative dessert pizza (nutella & banana etc).

Note: On request, I can teach you how to make handmade pasta, prepare dried pasta, make gnocchi or complicated sauces - like Bolognese or Ragu. Sky is the limit! Let me know if you would like a custom class.

I lived in Italy for 5 years, which is where I met my husband, Daniele. Daniele is a professional Italian personal chef from Florence, Italy. I am the owner of a boutique travel company, Hali's Boutique Italian Travel. I organize trips all over Europe, but specialize in Italy. I lived in Italy and got a start in Italian tourism about 6 year...s ago and completely fell in love! It spurred be to be the marketing manager of a Blue Travel for 4 years, and then spent a year and a half as the managing director of L & B Italian Tours before venturing out on my own, moving to Austin, and starting my boutique travel company.
